Since 1991, the name of Footprint Uniforms formally (Motif-Action) has become synonymous with quality, value, & service.

Launched as a clothing manufacturing company, developing clothing & hard goods ranges for schools, retail sector, fire & rescue services and many more, we have since brought our expertise to the corporate & promotional clothing sectors as well.

Footprint Uniforms is more than just a clothing manufacturer & supplier: We bring together skills in textiles, marketing, and brand development, to ensure the clothing we supply helps our clients brand to stand out from the crowd. As a result, we have become trusted partners to a number of the best known brands and helped launch several emerging ones on their way to becoming the next big thing.

Despite this we remain a family owned, ‘hands-on’ company. We firmly believe in treating our clients and our employees as we would expect to be treated ourselves. This philosophy and our stance on ethical and ecological issues, form the basis of how we do business.

The company specialises in designing and manufacturing quality fire cadet uniforms, school uniforms, leisurewear & sportswear for brand owners in the retail sector but also produce brand support clothing for a diverse client base including vehicle manufacturers, drinks companies, marketing agencies, motor-sport venues and theme parks.

The company is run by, Bill and Carol Walker-Giddens, who have worked at a senior level within the clothing and textiles industry for many years. Their 'hands on' style and direct, yet friendly attitude, have endeared them to many clients both large and small and they are more than able to oversee the business, having been responsible for developing and manufacturing clothing ranges for some of the best.
